Đổi mới từ quản trị đến đào tạo: Khoa Mỹ thuật đồng hành cùng cải cách hành chính và chuyển đổi số

In the context of promoting administrative reform and digital transformation under the overall State administrative reform program for the period 2021–2030, educational institutions must not only innovate management methods but also improve the quality of training to meet the requirements of human resource development in the new era. Implementing Plan No. 05/KH-TCĐ.VHNT dated January 23, 2026, of Can Tho College of Culture and Arts on implementing administrative reform and information and communication work on administrative reform in 2026, the Fine Arts Faculty identifies administrative reform as a task linked to innovation in professional management, application of information technology, digital transformation, and improving the quality of service to students. The school's plan also emphasizes the need to enhance the responsibility of leaders, strengthen the application of technology, innovate management methods, and implement administrative reform in a student-centered manner.
With its focus on training in Painting and Graphic Design, the Faculty of Fine Arts is progressively linking administrative innovation with professional innovation. In carrying out its mission, the Faculty emphasizes reviewing training programs, detailed course outlines, teaching plans, professional assignment schedules, and related documents; while also increasing the use of electronic data, gradually storing professional records in a digital environment, and developing electronic learning materials to support teaching and learning. These are consistent with the Faculty's function in organizing and managing training, ensuring quality, and digital transformation.
For the Faculty of Fine Arts, digital transformation not only supports management but also facilitates innovation in training methods, the development of digital learning materials, the storage of specialized documents, and the enhancement of students' access to learning resources. With the motto "innovation from management to training," the Faculty aims to build an increasingly scientific, transparent, and efficient working and learning environment. thereby contributing to the achievement of the University's administrative reform and digital transformation goals.
Innovation in professional management – A foundation for improving operational efficiency.
In implementing the University's 2026 administrative reform plan, the Faculty of Fine Arts identifies innovation in professional management as one of the important solutions to improve operational efficiency and ensure uniformity in training organization.
Accordingly, the Faculty focuses on reviewing and standardizing professional processes, forms, and records within its scope of implementation; with particular emphasis on teaching plans, professional assignment schedules, training progress, training programs, detailed course outlines, examination and evaluation records, and documents serving quality assurance. This approach is consistent with the tasks of departments and faculties in implementing administrative reform in their assigned professional fields and advising on work process solutions.
The management and assignment of tasks are carried out in a way that clearly defines roles, responsibilities, and tasks. The Head of the Faculty directly supervises and assigns tasks; each staff member is responsible for the assigned content. Standardizing forms, increasing the use of electronic data, and limiting the re-entry of the same information across multiple files contributes to reduced processing time, improved verification and comparison capabilities, and more effective coordination.
In addition, the review of training programs and detailed course outlines is conducted regularly according to regulations and practical requirements, contributing to the standardization of training content, increasing consistency in management, and creating favorable conditions for lecturers, students, and learners in the teaching and learning process.
Promoting digital transformation in management and training:
Digital transformation is one of the key aspects that the Faculty of Fine Arts focuses on in its administrative reform efforts. Based on the University's guidelines, the Faculty is gradually increasing the use of electronic data in managing teaching plans, assigning teaching duties, monitoring training progress, archiving curricula, detailed course outlines, and professional documents.
The gradual organization of electronic record storage facilitates easier searching, summarizing, checking, and cross-referencing; and contributes to reducing unnecessary printing and copying of documents. This is also consistent with the task of implementing electronic record storage assigned to departments and faculties in Plan No. 05.
In training activities, the Faculty focuses on developing electronic lectures, digital learning materials, and specialized visual resources. By the 2025-2026 academic year, approximately 30% of specialized courses will have been digitized, gradually forming a digital learning resource to serve teaching, learning, and self-study for students.
Digitalization not only contributes to supporting the innovation of teaching methods but also lays the groundwork for the Faculty to gradually build a systematic source of specialized data and learning materials, serving management, quality assurance, research, and the storage of students' learning products.
Innovation in training methods linked to professional practice,
administrative reform, and digital transformation create conditions for the Faculty of Fine Arts to continue innovating its training activities towards developing competencies, enhancing practical skills, and linking learning content to professional requirements.
Specialized courses are reviewed and updated to increase practical application, foster creative thinking, and enhance students' ability to apply their knowledge. The use of electronic learning materials, visual resources, and digital tools to support teaching contributes to expanding access to materials, increasing proactive learning, and creating conditions for students to develop professional skills in a digital environment.
The Faculty simultaneously emphasizes linking training with practical activities, professional internships, and specialized tasks. Through this, innovation in management and digital transformation are not separate from the goal of improving training quality, but are used as tools to support the teaching and learning process more effectively. Leveraging
the strengths of fine arts in information and communication work on administrative reform:
With its strengths in painting and graphic design training, the Faculty of Fine Arts is well-positioned to utilize visual language in information and communication work on administrative reform and digital transformation.
In 2026, the Faculty developed one thematic article on administrative reform with the theme "Innovation from management to training: The Faculty of Fine Arts accompanies administrative reform and digital transformation," contributing to the concretization of the task of information and communication on administrative reform at the unit. The development of the article is in line with Plan No. 05, which requires each department and faculty to produce two newsletters or articles on administrative reform work each year.
Besides written materials, the specifics of the Graphic Design field also open up the possibility of developing visual communication products such as infographics, posters, banners, and digital design products for future promotional activities. Integrating this content into professional practice can both contribute to improving communication effectiveness and create opportunities for students to apply their knowledge and professional skills in practice.
Building a faculty team adapted to the digital education environment:
The faculty team plays a direct role in implementing administrative reform, governance innovation, and digital transformation at the Faculty. Therefore, raising awareness, responsibility, and the ability to apply technology among staff is identified as an important content.
From January to August 2026, all 7/7 staff members of the Faculty will be briefed on administrative reform content related to the unit's functions and tasks. Simultaneously, all 7/7 staff records have been reviewed and standardized, achieving 100%, contributing to improved accuracy and consistency of data for management purposes.
The Faculty continues to encourage lecturers to update their professional knowledge, teaching methods, and appropriately utilize new digital technologies and tools in management and training activities. Enhancing the digital capabilities of the staff not only supports the innovation of teaching methods but also contributes to building a scientific and professional work style, improving the quality of service to learners.
Towards a modern, creative, and sustainable training environment
, in the coming time, the Faculty of Fine Arts will continue to implement administrative reform tasks associated with digital transformation, focusing on completing the standardization of processes, forms, and professional records; strengthening electronic archiving; continuing to digitize lectures, learning materials, and specialized documents; and gradually building a shared professional data repository.
Furthermore, the Faculty continues to review and update training programs and detailed course outlines; strengthen the application of information technology in planning, assigning teaching, monitoring progress, and compiling reports; and minimize the re-entry of the same data across multiple forms.
In addition to administrative tasks, the Faculty continues to promote the connection between training and professional practice, businesses, cultural institutions, and professional activities, aiming to create a learning environment closely linked to reality. Through this, administrative reform and digital transformation not only contribute to improving management efficiency but also directly support the goal of enhancing the quality of training and the career adaptability of learners. Administrative reform
and digital transformation are creating momentum for the Faculty of Fine Arts to gradually innovate both its management methods and training activities. From reviewing and standardizing professional processes and forms, standardizing staff data, increasing the use of electronic records, to building digital learning materials and innovating teaching methods, the Faculty's activities are increasingly aligned with the requirements of scientific, transparent, and efficient management.
Specific results such as all 7 staff members being informed about administrative reform; all 7 staff members' records being reviewed and standardized; one thematic article on administrative reform; and approximately 30% of specialized courses being digitized demonstrate that administrative reform at the Faculty is gradually becoming more substantive, linked to professional activities and digital transformation.
With the motto "innovation from management to training," the Faculty of Fine Arts continues to collaborate with Can Tho College of Culture and Arts in implementing administrative reform and digital transformation; aiming to build an increasingly modern, professional, and creative management and training environment, centered on the learner and meeting the requirements of vocational education reform in the new era.
